关于采纳赤道原则的声明

为了更好地履行社会责任，有效实施绿色发展，福建海峡银行股份有限公司(以下简称福建海峡银行)于2021年12月8日正式采纳赤道原则。福建海峡银行将不断完善环境和社会风险管理体系，全面落实赤道原则要求。

福建海峡银行成立于1996年12月，总部位于福建省福州市。本行在福建省和浙江省设立76家分支机构。截至2021年11月末，本行资产总额2,007.7亿元，各项存款余额1,476亿元，各项贷款余额1,105.2亿元。近年来，本行加快构建绿色金融体系，着力打造绿色银行品牌，支持了节能环保、污染治理、清洁交通等领域多个绿色项目发展。截至2021年11月末，本行绿色融资余额38.47亿元，比年初增长79.85%。

赤道原则是金融机构采用的一种风险管理框架，用于确定、评估和管理项目中的环境和社会风险。其主要目的是为尽职调查和监测提供最低标准，以支持负责任的风险决策。

福建海峡银行将以采纳赤道原则为契机，服务绿色发展，践行企业社会责任，有效防范环境与社会风险。

Statement on adoption of the Equator Principles

FuJian HaiXia Bank Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as FuJian HaiXia Bank) officially adopts Equator Principles on December 8, 2021 in order to fulfill its social responsibility better and implement green development effectively. FuJian HaiXia Bank will continuously improve the environmental and social risk management system, and fully implement the requirements of Equator Principles.

FuJian HaiXia Bank was established in December 1996 whose headquater is located in FuZhou City, FuJian Province, China. The bank has a network of 76 branches in FuJian and ZheJiang Provinces, China. As of the end of November 2021, the total assets of Bank amounted to 31,471.61 million US dollars: the balance of deposits reached 23,136.97 million US dollars, while the balance of loans hit 17,324.51 million US dollars. In recent years, the Bank accelerates the construction of a green financial system, and puts great efforts on building a brand of green banking. The bank has supported the development of numerous green projects in the areas of energy conservation and environmental protection、 pollution control and clean transportation, ect. in FuJian Province.As of the end of November 2021, the balance of green financing of the bank was 603.03 million US dollars,an increase of 79.85% compared with the beginning of the year.

The Equator Principles is a risk management framework, adopted by financial institutions, for determining, assessing and managing environmental and social risk in projects and is primarily intended to provide a minimum standard for due diligence and monitoring to support responsible risk decision-making. 

FuJian HaiXia Bank will take the Equator Principles as an opportunity to support green development, practice corporate social responsibility, and effectively prevent environmental and social risks.
